Running JBI Tools through Ovid

Click the EBP Tools tab, then select either SUMARI or PACES.

There are 4 login options on the JBI Login page:

Option 1: New JBI tool Users

Select Register New User.

The first time you access any JBI tool via Ovid, you need to register an account and accept the terms and conditions on the JBI tools platform.

Please note the username and password you create; after you complete the setup of the new account you will come back to this page to enter the username and password, using Option 4.

Option 2: Migrated SUMARI users

On 21 January 2022, JBI migrated all existing SUMARI accounts to a new login process.

If you're logging into SUMARI for the first time after your account was migrated, you need to follow the below instructions to complete the migration.

We recommend clearing your browser cache before completing these steps.

Use the Forgot Password link on the JBI Login tab to reset your password using the email address associated with your Ovid personal account.

After completing the forgot password step, do NOT try to log into myJBI.

Check that you have these 2 tabs open in your browser: Tab1 Ovid session and Tab2 JBI Login:

Go to the JBI login tab and select Request Access.

Enter your JBI username and new password in the JBI Access Request boxes then click Submit.

Note the red message confirming that your JBI subscription has been added to your account.

Click Login to the right of the red message.

Enter your JBI username and new password on the login page, then click Submit.

SUMARI opens with all of your previous SUMARI review projects available.

Option 3: Existing MyJBI users who have never accessed via Ovid before.

You may have an existing MyJBI account if you attended training at JBI or a JBI Collaborating Centre.

Click Request Access to request the migration of your existing account to Ovid.

Option 4: Returning users

If you've completed one of the above processes, enter your username and password and click Submit.
